Everton star Marouane Fellaini has played down reports linking him with a move away from Goodison Park reaffirming his commitment to the club.

Fellaini had been quoted by Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad as saying that his time at Everton may be coming to an end in January or at the end of the current season.

However, the Belgian international has moved to set the record straight and insists he has no plans to leave Everton.

Happy

"I was very surprised to read in some newspapers that I will leave Everton very soon and perhaps next January," wrote Fellaini in a statement published on his Facebook page.

"Let me remind you that I am very happy in Liverpool and our start of the championship was good.
