Everton boss admits cheeky enquiry
Everton boss David Moyes admits he made a cheeky enquiry to Thierry Henry about playing for the Toffees.
Henry is currently in England and training with former club Arsenal during Major League Soccer's off-season.
The Gunners have been linked with a loan move for their former star, but Arsene Wenger insists the striker will be returning to training with New York Red Bulls early in the New Year.
Everton, though, are desperate to bolster their striking options in January which led to Moyes asking the question of Henry before they faced Arsenal at the weekend.
"I asked (Henry) to let me know if he wants a game," smiled Moyes. "I already asked him, he'll tell you."
Moyes though remains keen to bolster his attacking options and has been linked with former loanee Landon Donovan and fellow American Charlie Davies.
"I'm hoping we might be able to do something," he added.
