German starlet agrees Goodison Park switch

Everton have pulled off a coup after agreeing a pre-contract deal with Hamburg's young defender Shkodran Mustafi. The teenager, who has come through the youth ranks at Hamburg, will officially join the Toffees on 1st July when the transfer window re-opens. Everton do not have to pay a transfer fee for the Germany Under-17 international, but Fifa training compensation will be applicable. Mustafi has agreed a three-year contract with the Merseysiders and will now link up with their reserve squad in July. The stopper, who has previously revealed it is his dream to play in the Premier League, joined Everton due to David Moyes' willingness to blood youngsters in his first team.
