Stephane M'Bia insists he will not be handing in a transfer request at Rennes, although he has his heart set on a move to Everton.
The Cameroon international, who is currently at the Olympics, is desperate to see a move to England come to fruition.
But the 22-year-old does not want to upset Rennes - the club he has spent his whole career with.
Speaking to skysports.com from China, M'Bia admits he wants to join Everton.
"The offer from Everton is too good to refuse," he told skysports.com.
"But I cannot leave on bad terms, despite the lure of the Premier League - I am caught in the middle."
Asked why he has not handed in a transfer request, he added: "It is not easy when everyone has been so kind to you."
M'Bia is now left to see whether Everton can agree terms with Rennes in the coming days.
