Skysports.com understands reports linking Leighton Baines and Stephen Warnock in a possible swap deal are wide of the mark.
Reports on Friday suggested Everton were planning to offer Baines in a player-exchange deal for Blackburn defender Warnock.
Baines endured a difficult first season at Everton last term following his move from Wigan last summer.
The former England Under 21 international struggled with a series of niggling injuries restricting him to just 13 league starts, but skysports.com has learnt Everton have no plans to offload the left-back and that Baines remains part of David Moyes' plans.
Warnock's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks with Newcastle also linked with the former Liverpool man.
Blackburn turned down a bid from Newcastle and they are loath to lose Warnock having seen David Bentley and Brad Friedel leave the club in recent weeks.
