Andy Johnson's proposed move to Fulham has been delayed because of a hitch in the player's medical, skysports.com understands.
Fulham agreed a deal with Everton for Johnson earlier this week and the England international underwent a medical at Craven Cottage.
The move was expected to be completed within 24 hours, but the medical is believed to have shown up an old knee injury which has raised concerns with Fulham officials.
As a result the West London club are believed to be keen to renegotiate terms of payment to Everton.
Both clubs remain in discussions as they try to thrash out a satisfactory agreement for both parties.
The pair remain confident the move will go through, with both clubs keen to do the deal as Everton want the money to fund their own transfer plans and Fulham are keen to have Johnson on board as they look to improve on last season's disappointing campaign.
