Everton starlet Victor Anichebe says he has benefited greatly from playing alongside Yakubu Aiyegbeni at Goodison Park.
Anichebe, who turns 20 later this month, burst onto the scene in 2006 and became a fans' favourite at the club.
But he feels his game has improved significantly since Yakubu arrived from Middlesbrough last summer.
"Yak has helped me out a lot on the pitch because I watch the way he plays and I can relate to it," he told the Liverpool Daily Post.
"He's a great addition to the squad, he's scored a lot of goals and I just watch him all the time and learn things from him because he's a top, top striker."
Yakubu has scored 19 goals so far this season.
