Yeovil Town have snapped up Everton youngster Aidan Downes on loan until the end of the season.
Downes played for Yeovil's reserves against Bristol City on Wednesday and showed enough to secure a move to Huish Park.
The Republic of Ireland Under 21 international has yet to make a first-team appearance for Everton, but has been a regular in the reserves.
He could feature in Yeovil's League One game against Bristol Rovers this weekend as he looks to make his mark in English football.
Glovers boss Russell Slade had earlier signed Asmir Begovic on loan from Portsmouth after goalkeeper Scott Flinders was recalled by Crystal Palace.
