Everton will be without Steven Pienaar's services for at least another two weeks due to an ankle injury sustained on international duty.
Pienaar sat out South Africa's final Africa Cup of Nations Group D clash with Senegal on Wednesday with the problem.
Despite Bafana-Bafana's tournament ending, The Toffees with be without Pienaar in the coming weeks with the injury he brings back from the tournament in Ghana.
"I've been told it is up to two to three weeks before it is fixed. I have been unfortunate with injuries," said Pienaar.
The 25-year-old is now likely to miss Everton's upcoming game with Reading and their Uefa Cup ties with Norwegian outfit SK Brann.
