Santiago Ezquerro has alerted Premier League clubs after stating that he may leave Barcelona in January.
The Spanish striker arrived at Camp Nou from Athletic Bilbao in 2005, but he has struggled with injuries and form, and with his contract due to run out in the summer he admits that it may be time to move on.
During the summer, Ezquerro was linked with Everton and Bolton, and both clubs may reignite their interest after hearing the news that the player will be available on a free during the upcoming transfer window.
Not happy
"I am not happy here," Ezquerro told Marca.
"But the three seasons that I have been here I have not had much luck with injuries.
"I have tried to take advantage of any chances that have been given to me, but I am now open to the chance of leaving in the winter market.
"I am willing to leave if any team that I like comes along and shows me their ideas. I cannot rule out anything, but I am not willing to just go anywhere.
"If the offer is interesting from a sporting point of view I will go because there would not be a problem on the part of Barca."
Unity
The striker also praised his team-mate Deco, after the Portuguese playmaker hit back at suggestions by Pedrag Mijatovic that club morale was better at Real Madrid than it is at Barcelona.
"If there is one thing that has stood out during my years at Barca, it is the unity of the squad and the work ethic of the team," Ezquerro said.
"There are things that as a professional one should not say because if you talk a lot you make mistakes.
"Deco is a person with a strong character and everything he said made sense. I can only applaud him because he had reason to say these things."
