Chase hots up for Braaten

Bolton are reportedly heading up the chase to sign Norway international Daniel Braaten.

Bolton Wanderers are reportedly heading up the chase to sign Norway international Daniel Braaten.

The forward is due to leave Rosenborg when his contract expires at the end of the year and he has four Premier League clubs on his trail.

Reports in Scandinavia claim that Aston Villa, Everton and Fulham, along with Bolton, have been showing an interest.

But new Trotters boss Sammy Lee is rumoured to be in the driving seat, with Braaten keen to move to a club where he will play regularly.

"It is important that it is the right club for Daniel," his agent Stig Lillejord told VG.

"That he goes somewhere where he gets to play."

Rosenborg could be prepared to offload Braaten in time for the new Premier League season for a nominal fee.
