Everton have been handed a double injury boost with the news that James McFadden and Nuno Valente are back in training.
Scottish international McFadden has been sidelined for the last two months with a broken foot, while Portuguese defender Valente has been struggling with a calf problem since January.
Both players have returned to training and they could be back in action in the next few weeks.
Everton physio Mick Rathbone is happy with the progress both players are making.
"James has actually joined in training for the first time," Rathbone told the club's official website.
"He is doing ever so well, the x-rays are fine and the consultant is very happy with him. We have done everything in the last three weeks and he was able to join in full training today.
"James has been quite a good patient and you know the speed you can go at. Most players coming back from that type of injury don't want to push too hard because of its nature.
"Nuno has trained in the last three days and he is doing well."
