Everton target Luigi Pieroni admits he would be interested by a possible move to England.
The Auxerre striker is thought to have been watched by Everton scouts after David Moyes targeted him as a possible summer signing.
Pieroni, who scored 12 goals for the French side last season, says he would be keen on a move to The Premiership and would relish the opportunity to play in England.
"As a player with Italian roots, I dream mainly about Serie A," said Pieroni in Belgian newspaper La Derniere.
"But England, which has an attacking style, suits me.
"Of course it's a physical league, but you get kicks everywhere."
Everton have yet to contact Auxerre about the possibility of bringing the Belgian to Goodison Park, but the player's agent is hopeful a deal can be reached before the summer break.
"I believe something will happen before the break," said Eric Depireux.
"Auxerre won't block their players, surely not as they will do good business. Pieroni didn't cost them much."
Depireux also feels his player would fit perfectly into the English game and says he has all the attributes to succeed.
"Everton would fit in with his development, Luigi is made for England," he added.
"He is tall, strong, has a good header, loves playing in space and can score goals."
