Everton goalkeeper Richard Wright has tipped his side to mount a late charge and claim a place in Europe come the end of the season.
After a poor start to the campaign - The Toffees lost seven of their first eight matches - the Merseysiders' fortunes took a dramatic turn for the better and they are now one of the top-flight's in-form sides.
Everton are 11th after breaking the 40-point mark with a 3-1 win over Fulham last Saturday and given the club's horrendous start that would have been manager David Moyes' sole objective.
But, with nine games of the season still to go, and safety easily assured, Moyes' revitalised side are now only six points adrift of sixth-placed Blackburn.
So Wright, who returned against The Cottagers after four weeks out with damaged ankle ligaments, believes there will be no end-of-season feel stifling Goodison Park in the coming weeks.
"There is so much we can achieve," Wright told ToffeeTV
"There are 27 points on the table for us from nine games left and we have got to go out with the same attitude that we have been showing recently and keep performing.
"Yes, we can qualify for Europe if we keep playing the way we are."
The goals of the once shot-shy James Beattie have played a major part in The Toffees' rise and Wright also highlighted Mikel Arteta as an integral part of Moyes' side.
"We need to keep trying to improve ourselves and work hard in training. If you look at the way James Beattie is performing at the moment with his goals and his work rate it is fantastic," said Wright.
"Mikel Arteta is playing fantastically and you can just go round the team and speak about every individual and everyone is on top of their game, and everyone is enjoying their football at the moment."
Injuries aside, Wright has been pleased with his own form this season and hopes to play a significant part in The Toffees' European chase.
"For myself, the aim was to get into the team," he said, "and if we can achieve stuff as a team and I am a part of that by playing then that would be fantastic. That is what I want."
