Fiorentina defender Per Kroldrup has criticised the standard of The Premiership.
Per Kroldrup has criticised the standard of The Premiership after being labelled an expensive flop during his time at Everton.
The Denmark international cost the Merseysiders £5 million in June but was moved on to Fiorentina in January after making only one league appearance for David Moyes's side.
After previously playing for Udinese, Kroldrup is now back in Serie A and looking to rebuild his career.
"I still feel I could have done well in the Premier League," the 26-year-old defender told Ekstra Bladet.
"Technical qualities are much more important in Italy.
"I am used to coaches and fans who prefer that you play yourselves out of trouble and pass to a team-mate."
Moyes will want to draw a line under the Kroldrup affair as he concentrates on maintaining an impressive run of form, with a tough trip to Chelsea in the FA Cup taking place on Wednesday night.
