Everton manager David Moyes has rejected newspaper claims that he wants to sign Brighton's Daniel Harding.
The England Under-21 international has been linked with a New Year move to Goodison Park but Moyes dismissed the reports out of hand.
"No," he told Sky Sports News when asked if there were any truth in the reports.
"We're not looking to strengthen at the moment.
"The team are doing very well."
Everton do have money to spend in January but Moyes will carefully consider his options before splashing out on fresh blood as he is keen not to unsettle a winning squad.
"We have got a terrific spirit," he added.
"I think they've shown it.
"They are working very hard for each other. They've got great ability some of them.
"They're good footballers and that's helping them."
