After challenging for Europe last season, Everton found themselves just outside the relegation scrap this term.
Yobo believes the blame lies with the players for the disappointing campaign at Goodison Park.
"The manager has done the best he can. As players, we have let him and the coaches down a bit," said Yobo.
"No team has outplayed us but it is very disappointing when you don't get the results you deserve."
