Kleberson waits for fresh challenge

COVETED Brazilian star Kleberson is yearning for the fresh challenge of European football after fulfilling all his ambitions with Atletico Paranaense.

Kleberson has repeatedly been linked with a switch to Europe following his exploits in midfield for Brazil at last summer's World Cup.

The Premiership appears to be his most likely destination with a posse of English clubs reportedly on his trail.

Birmingham City recently had talks with Atletico PR representatives while Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Everton have previously been linked with a swoop.

Kleberson admits that now he has achieved everything he wants to in his homeland, he is waiting for the chance to shine in Europe.

"All people yearn for new conquests," said Kleberson. "I have conquered everything with Atletico PR.

"I started at the club where I grew up and conquered all the challenges.

"I was champion of the Brazilian state and I won the World Cup while representing the colours of Atletico PR.

"But I believe that my next objective is Europe and I have the right to think about this."
