NICOLA AMORUSO would consider a possible move to Everton, according to his agent Antonio Caliendo.

The talented striker only recently joined Perugia, but could be set to move on again due to the complicated nature of the Italian transfer system.

Although there is also interest from Serie A sides, the prospect of a move to The Premiership would appeal to the former Juventus marksman.

Everton have been buoyed by the emergence of wonder-kid Wayne Rooney, and Tomasz Radzinski got off the mark with the equaliser against Tottenham on Saturday, but there are still doubts over the fitness of talismanic target man Duncan Ferguson.

The question is whether The Toffees could afford to bring Amoruso to Goodison Park, but a loan deal may be within David Moyes's strict budget.

"Yes, it turns out that Everton are also interested in the purchase of Amoruso," Caliendo told calciomanager.it.

"He is a professional who, after having accepted the transfer to Perugia, would not have a difficulty in moving to the club in Liverpool."

The 27-year-old, pictured scoring against Arsenal in the Champions League, has also been linked with a loan move to Lazio, in exchange for Roberto Baronio.
