Ferrante not interested in Everton

EVERTON have sent scouts to watch Torino's Marco Ferrante, but the player has insisted that he is happy to remain in Serie A.

Ferrante, who moved to Toro from Internazionale, has attracted interest from The Toffees, who believe the 30-year-old would be ideally suited to The Premiership.

Everton sent two of their scouts to watch the player in the game between Torino and Udinese, and were impressed with what they saw.

However, it seems unlikely that the experienced marksman will make the move, after stating categorically that he does not want to leave.

"I am happy at Torino," said Ferrante.

"I have a wonderful relationship with my club, and I want to stay here and concentrate on keeping the team out of trouble.

"I have no interest in who asks about buying me."

Ferrante has scored six times in 15 games for Torino this season.
