EVERTON defender Gary Naysmith has been ruled out for the rest of the season, after suffering from a recurrence of his knee injury.
The Scottish international, was injured last month when he suffered a nasty gash to his knee, but the wound has failed to heal and he has now been told to rest.
Naysmith could have played through the pain barrier and worn special protection over the injury, but it has been decided that he will wait until the cut heals fully.
