Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is in talks with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, his agent has confirmed.
Bendtner is currently without a club following the expiry of his Arsenal contract at the end of last season and has been linked with Aston Villa and Olympiakos among other clubs this summer.
The 26-year-old, who had loan spells with Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus in recent seasons, never truly established himself in North London during a largely disappointing 10-year stay.
The Denmark international hit 47 goals in 171 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, but is now primed for a move to Germany.
Agent Thomas Brookes said: "It’s correct, we are negotiating with Wolfsburg."
