Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen has insisted that he is not worried about his contract situation with the club.
The 28-year-old Belgium international's current deal with the Gunners runs out in June 2015, but speculation over his immediate future has increased because of his lack of playing time this season.
However, Vermaelen claims that he is not focused on himself and is concentrating on helping Arsene Wenger's side win the Premier League title this season.
"I don't like to talk about my situation," he told Belgian TV station Sporting Telenet. "It doesn't matter.
"I am a player of Arsenal and I will do everything for this club. We will see what happens. It makes no sense to speculate about my future.
"We are still happy about our place in the table. To be title contenders we have to be very consistent. In the Premier League, everything is possible."
