Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has urged his team-mates to remain focused ahead of their UEFA Champions League qualifier with Fenerbahce.
The Gunners won eight and drew two of their final 10 Premier League games last season, enough to overtake bitter rivals Tottenham and snatch the final Champions League qualification spot.
However, despite the setback of Saturday's home defeat to Aston Villa, the England star insists Arsenal have to be on top of their game in Turkey.
"We don't want to waste all the good work we did last year," Wilshere told The Sun.
"We have got to be up for that, and get into the Champions League.
"After that anything can happen and if we focus on the big games we will see where we are at the end of the season."
The 21-year-old had an injury-hit campaign in 2012/13, but is adamant he is fitter than ever, and ready for a sustained period in the first-team.
"I feel good to have a first pre-season in a few years behind me," he added.
"I have missed a lot of games, and I want to be involved in the big ones."
