Carlos Vela has completed his permanent move from Arsenal to Real Sociedad, it was announced on Friday.
The 23-year-old played for the Spanish club on loan in 2011/12, scoring 12 goals in 35 Primera Liga appearances.
Arsenal confirmed the transfer on Friday and thanked Vela for his contribution to the club over the years.
"Everyone at the club would like to thank Carlos for his contribution to the club and wish him well for his future career," reads a statement on Arsenal's official website.
Sociedad will begin their Spanish Primera Liga campaign with an away game against Barcelona on Sunday 19th August.
