Frenchman will not consider future of loanees until end of the season

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he will discuss the future of on-loan Sunderland striker Nicklas Bendtner in the summer. Bendtner has spent the whole season at the Stadium of Light after being unable to nail down a guaranteed starting spot under Wenger Wenger says he will consider his long-term plan for the Denmark star when his temporary deal expires, along with the other Gunners players currently out on loan. Brazilian midfielder Denilson and Mexican forward Carlos Vela have enjoyed season-long spells at Sao Paulo and Real Sociedad respectively. Wenger says the Premier League squad restrictions will play a significant factor when he determines the fate of all three.

Restrictions

"I have not decided anything yet," he told Arsenal Player. "It will depend a bit on the structure of the whole team. I will sit down with him [Bendtner] at the end of the season. "You know you have some restrictions because you are only allowed 25 players. Therefore you have to make decisions and choices that are of course linked with that. "At the moment we have 34 players. I believe that many clubs are in this situation. The Premier League have put themselves into this situation where they completely lock the transfer market. "When the players come back from their loans, many clubs will be in the same situation where they cannot buy because they have too many players."
