Boss admits midfielder could make Euros

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed Jack Wilshere is making progress in his recovery from injury and could play before the end of the season. The 20-year-old injured his ankle in pre-season but has suffered a series of setbacks that have prevented him from making a single first-team appearance this campaign. There were fears his latest setback - a stress fracture to his right foot in February - would scupper his entire season, including the European Championship with England in June. However, Wenger has given a positive prognosis on Wilshere's recovery, suggesting he could be seen in an Arsenal shirt - and even an England shirt - before the end of the season. "The latest on Jack Wilshere is positive, but cautious. That means he is doing well in training and is getting stronger every week," said Wenger. "At the moment it is too difficult to say he will play in the Euros. "You cannot rule it out, but as well you cannot say with certainty he will be fit and available before the end of the season."
