Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is adamant his side have both the quality and self-belief to secure a top-four finish this season.
The Gunners, who have never finished outside the top four in Wenger's 15-year tenure, currently sit three points off fourth-placed Chelsea but could leapfrog the Blues if results go their way this weekend.
Fresh from a 7-1 thrashing of Blackburn, Arsenal face a tough trip to Sunderland on Saturday before hosting four of the five sides currently above them over the coming weeks.
Arsenal have not failed to secure a top-four finish since 1995-96 and Wenger insists his players will fight to preserve their fine record of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.

"We still have real hope that we can finish the season the strongest," Wenger told the club's official website.
"We have a good spirit and desire within the group - and we have quality.
"We know that with the position we are in we need an exceptional consistency, so that is the challenge we have in front of us at Sunderland."
