Peruvian wanted in Bundesliga

Andy Polo could be heading for Germany rather than England, according to his agent. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have been strongly linked with the 17-year-old striker - who is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in South American football. Real Madrid have also scouted him, but now he could be set for a move to the Bundesliga - with Hamburg thought to be amongst the clubs keen on securing his signature. His agent, Borja Gonzalez, admitted the striker is likely to head to Germany. "There are two clubs in Germany who are very interested in Andy and there is a very close agreement," Gonzalez said. "'In the next 48 hours they have to call me and tell me they want to do the deal. If all goes well on Thursday or Friday, we should be close. "Andy Polo will play in Europe next year."
