Tomas Rosicky is hoping Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas will stay and provide him with competition at Arsenal.
Speculation continues to suggest two of the Gunners' most influential performers will be on their way out of the club before the transfer window slams shut on 31st August.
Skipper Fabregas has been the subject of renewed interest from long-time admirers Barcelona, while Nasri has expressed a desire to leave after failing to add to his medal collection in North London.
A departure for either would allow Rosicky to stake a claim for a more regular role, with his path to the first team often blocked.
The Czech playmaker is, however, prepared to put the interests of the club before his own personal ambitions and insists he would be delighted to see the Gunners retain the services of their key men.
"I'm not thinking like that," Rosicky told
Pravo when asked if summer exits would play into his hands.
Ambitions
"Arsenal are a giant club with big ambitions and to turn those ambitions into achievements you need to keep the best players you have and to have the strongest squad possible.
"I don't want Fabregas or anyone else to leave. Even if that was to happen, Mr Wenger would go and get someone new."
The countdown to the new Premier League season is now well underway, with Arsenal set to open their campaign against Newcastle on Saturday.
Rosicky is hoping to be in contention for that clash, with a productive pre-season programme having put him firmly in Arsene Wenger's plans.
He added: "Most importantly, I am fit at the moment.
"I only missed two training sessions and that was because I was rested. Pre-season was very demanding and I came through it without any problems."
