Only big bid will get Ospina

Patrick Governatori claims Nice will only consider selling David Opsina if they receive a 'big offer'.

Nice have no plans to sell keeper

General manager Patrick Governatori claims Nice will only consider selling David Opsina if they receive a big offer. The 22-year-old has seen his stock rise considerably over recent years and he is now attracting interest from afar. Ligue 1 giants Paris St Germain are just one of the clubs reported to be tracking his progress, ready to pounce at any moment. Ospina has admitted that he would be open to a move to the capital giants, suggesting his days in Nice could be limited. Governatori, though, insists there is no chance of the keeper being moved on unless a sizeable bid is lodged.

Contract

"Everyone wants him to stay for at least one more season," he told France Football. "We are in talks to extend his contract by another two years (it currently runs until June). "Only minor technical details have prevented us reaching an agreement. For me, there is every chance he will stay with us. "Anything is possible but one thing is for sure, Nice paid €2.5m to sign him and we won't let him leave for nothing. "You know that to a sign a top keeper it would cost about 5, 6 or 7million euros."
