Chinese striker set for Celtic switch

Celtic have reached an agreement with former Charlton striker Zheng Zhi, who is currently a free agent. As the China national skipper is without a club, the Hoops are under no pressure to get the paperwork pushed through. Zheng will therefore arrive at Parkhead in the coming weeks once the relevant documentation has been put in place. The 29-year-old frontman had spent the last two years with Charlton, but left the Addicks this summer following their relegation to League One. Meanwhile, Celtic have also allowed reserve keeper Mark Brown to join Kilmarnock on loan. Brown has made just 14 appearances for the Hoops since joining from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2007. The 28-year-old shot-stopper will remain at Rugby Park until 15th January 2010.
