Roma goalkeeper Doni admits the club travel to Arsenal fully confident they can defeat the English team.
The Brazilian international has confirmed that compatriot and ex-Gunners ace Julio Baptista has revealed a few secrets about his former club.
Doni admits Arsenal will be dangerous but is confident they can be beaten.
"The match will be difficult but we have come to London with the objective of making the next round," he told skysports.com.
"The tie is open, but I think we have a little advantage knowing the second match is at home.
"Arsenal are not going through their best moment, but they will always be dangerous but we are confident.
"They don't have the likes of Adebayor, Cesc, Walcott or Eduardo - but I am convinced the match in London will not be easy."
Doni was in goal for Roma when they suffered their heaviest defeat of recent times in England, when they were thumped 7-1 at Manchester United - but he insists that is not an issue.
"It is impossible to forget our defeat at Old Trafford, but what is important now is the present - a repeat of that is not possible," he said.
He added that Baptista had filled them in on a number of Arsenal players.
"Julio Baptista has given us some information about the players Arsenal have, but we have studied them well - they are very good rivals and we know the system to use to avoid danger at the Emirates," he said.
"This match will be intense from the first minute, it is true they have young players - but they are all experienced in the Premier League and in Europe."
