Gael Clichy looks set to be at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's disposal for the FA Cup fourth-round replay against Cardiff City.
Full-back Clichy suffered a nasty head injury in the Gunners' 0-0 draw at rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Clichy has subsequently been forced to withdraw from France's squad to face Argentina, although he is set to return to training this week ahead of Arsenal's tie with Cardiff next Monday.
He told L'Equipe: "I really can't remember what happened. The injury is quite deep. I have pain when I wake-up.
"However, the doctor has no worries. I will have a scan on Tuesday.
"I have been advised against any travelling, and I spoke with Les Bleus doctor. There are no problems.
"Now I hope to resume training (with Arsenal) on Thursday."
