Arsenal have agreed to allow defender Paul Rodgers to stay on loan at Northampton until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old right-back initially moved to Sixfields on a one-month deal at the end of January.
But Cobblers boss Stuart Gray was suitably impressed in that short time to ask for an extension from his opposite number Arsene Wenger.
And Arsenal have now agreed to Northampton's request, much to the delight of the League One outfit.
"We are pleased to have extended Paul's loan here until the end of the season," Gray told the club's official website.
"Paul has done well for us in the games he's played. He has got a lot of potential and I'm sure that there is a lot more still to come from him.
"He has settled in here really well and we are very grateful to Arsenal for allowing him to stay here until the end of the season."
