Ghana ace set for Norway stay

Racing Santander are set to give up on Anthony Annan, who is set to move within Norway, skysports.com understands. The Ghana international has been tracked by a host of English clubs - but none have been able to agree a deal with his club Start. Now, barring any late moves from the likes of Arsenal, Blackburn or Middlesbrough, Annan will spend at least another season in Norway. Valerenga and Rosenborg are now leading the chase and are battling it out to sign Annan - who has been on loan at Stabaek over the past season in Norway. Racing are now considering bids for Alexander Tettey, ironically the man who Annan could replace at Rosenborg, and Hamburg's David Jarolim. Rennes are also interested in Tettey but Racing are set to make a firm move this week. The Spaniards are also looking closely at Jarolim's situation at Hamburg. The former Bayern Munich man would consider a move to Spain and is now waiting to here from Racing. "I have heard of the Santander interest, but at the moment I am captain at Hamburg and that is essential," Jarolim said to Denik Sport.
