Holland coach Marco van Basten has named his 23-man squad for the upcoming European Championship.
The Dutch boss was forced to cut one man from his training squad, with the unlucky party being Sevilla's on-loan defender Khalid Boulahrouz.
The centre-half, who is owned by Chelsea, had been drafted in as cover for Mario Melchiot and Andre Ooijer, but both men look set to shake off minor knocks in time to feature in this summer's tournament.
Holland have been drawn in Group C alongside Italy, France and Romania, but must first negotiate warm-up matches against Denmark on Thursday and Wales on Sunday.
One man who will be looking to book his place in the manager's first-team plans during those friendlies is Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Real Madrid striker has not always seen eye-to-eye with the national coach and only returned to the fold after a year-long exile last summer.
The former Manchester United hit-man admits that the pair are unlikely to get along perfectly, but insists that their relationship remains functional.
"It's professional," he said. "We don't have to eat together or have a drink to work together.
"Both of us are pursuing the same goal, to have a good Euro. We're working together to achieve that aim and we're doing it in a very professional manner."
Meanwhile, Van Basten confirmed that he will not be rushing Robin Van Persie back into action, and will give the Arsenal forward as much time as possible to recuperate from an injury-hit season.
"Robin wanted to train and play normally (on Tuesday)," he said.
"He felt up to it but we have to slow him down. There is no point in playing him on Thursday.
"This season at Arsenal, Robin came back too soon after an injury and he had a relapse.
"We are not going to take any risks with Robin because he is a special player who will be very useful when we face Italy (on 9th June)."
