Gael Clichy is confident Arsenal will bounce back next season after seeing the Premier League title slip through their grasp.
The Gunners had been in a strong position at the top of the table earlier this year after holding a five-point advantage over eventual champions Manchester United.
But a dramatic loss of form saw Arsenal miss out on a first title since 2004 as Arsene Wenger's side had to settle for third spot.
Clichy feels injuries hampered the Gunners during the run-in, but the French full-back is expecting a positive response when next season starts.
"We had the season in our hands, being five points ahead of Manchester United and more of Chelsea, it was a gift - but at the end we had so many injured players and we did not handle it well," Clichy told Arsenal TV Online.
"You always say you learn from your mistakes, so we hope next season will be better.
"We were not far behind. I am confident we can do it because we have so much quality.
"Everybody knows Arsenal is a fantastic team. We just have to find a little bit.
"I hope the boss will find it this summer and I am sure we will be back next season."
