Eduardo admits he has no idea when he will return from injury.

The Arsenal striker, who suffered a shocking leg and ankle break at Birmingham last month, has started his long journey on the road to recovery.

The Brazilian-born Croat is now walking on crutches, but he admits he does not know whether he will be back in six months or 15 months.

"I am walking on crutches but I am feeling well, there is no pain," he told Croatian daily Jutarnji List.

"Some say the recovery will take half a year, some say I'll be playing in nine months, others say fifteen months."

He has already confirmed he has no chance of making Croatia's World Cup qualifier against England in September.

"That would be too soon. Yes, I will play against England, but in the return game in September 2009."
