Croatia coach Slaven Bilic believes Eduardo will be irreplaceable for this summer's European Championship.
The Arsenal striker was almost certain to be included in Croatia's squad for the tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
However, the Brazilian-born forward is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking his leg early on in Arsenal's draw with Birmingham on Saturday.
Bilic believes he will have cover for Eduardo this summer, although he is trying not to contemplate how things will pan out without the 25-year-old at Euro 2008.
"We have a solid choice of strikers, but he is irreplaceable," Bilic told the Vecernji List.
"However, I don't want to think now about our Euro 2008 performance without Eduardo.
"I just want him to be well and fully recover."
