Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy is prepared to wait for a call-up to the French national team.
The youngster has been in fantastic form for The Gunners in their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Some observers thought this would earn him an international debut but the 22-year-old, who has won 10 caps at U21 level, failed to get called up for the key Euro 2008 qualifier against the Ukraine on 21st November 21.
But a patient Clichy is happy to wait for his chance, just as he had to do to break into the Arsenal team.
He said: "It's a dream to play for the national team.
"I was understudy to Ashley Cole for four or five years at Arsenal, so I can wait for the national team.
"I'm sure it will come but I will just have to be patient."
