Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce is looking to land Arsenal defender Johan Djourou on a season-long loan.Djourou could be allowed to spend next season elsewhere to gain valuable first-team experience, and Blues were linked with the young Swiss.
Bruce has confirmed his interest in taking Djourou to St Andrews and is planning to hold talks with Arsene Wenger to discuss the 20-year-old's situation.
"I have not spoken to Arsenal for a while about Djourou but I'll see where we are," he is quoted in The Sun.
"We are still hopeful something can be done."
