Eric Abidal agent's has admitted the player would love to play for Barcelona, but also confirmed his client could also move to England or Italy.
The Lyon defender is being linked with a host of clubs, with Barcelona, Arsenal and Milan strongly tipped to make moves this summer.
The 26-year-old French star is under contract with Lyon until 2009 but he has a buy-out clause of just over £10million - which is unlikely to deter Europe's big hitters.
Abidal's representative Oscar Damiani has admitted interest is mounting in his charge.
"It [Barcelona] is a great club, but it is possible that it could go to a great side in Spain, Italy or England," Damiani told Primer Toc.
"Abidal loves Spain and Barca is a great club and he would love it.
"We will have more talks, firstly with Lyon in 15 or 20 days, and then later with other interested clubs.
"We have not spoken with Barcelona, but perhaps in the future."
Damiani also dismissed talk that Lyon could be looking for more than £15million for the highly-rated Abidal.
"They can request é¼50 million if they want, he only has two years left on his contract so we will discuss the price in the future," he added.
