Gael Clichy has called on his Arsenal team-mates to focus ahead of a busy Christmas period.
The Gunners play four games in 10 days starting at home to Blackburn on Saturday and culminating in the visit of Charlton on January 2.
Arsene Wenger's men also visit Watford and Sheffield United over the festive period and Clichy is targeting maximum points from their four fixtures.
However, the French full-back insists the games will not be taken lightly.
"The manager has always told us that around Christmas is the most important time of the season because we have so many games," Clichy said.
"There is a chance all of the teams can drop points, so we need to start from now and get maximum points ourselves.
"When you look at the names of the teams we will be playing, you could say it will be easy - but we know that in football all games are difficult and different."
The busy schedule is sure to test Arsenal's younger players, of which Clichy is one.
Missing a number of experienced stars, the 21-year-old is confident his fellow youngsters will step up and perform.
He said: "We do not need to hide behind the age of the team. We are young, we know that.
"If we want to be top players then we have to play like top players.
"So all of us, the older players too, we have to carry on and work hard."
