Kerrea Gilbert admits he would prefer to stay at Cardiff City, rather than return to Arsenal.
The defender is spending the season on loan at Ninian Park and has made 12 appearances for the Championship table-toppers.
He is scheduled to return to Emirates Stadium at the campaign's close, but Gilbert concedes he is happy in South Wales.
"My heart is with Cardiff now and having been here for three months I really like the place and the people here," said Gilbert.
"But we will see what happens at the end of the season.
"Cardiff and Arsenal will talk then, but playing in The Premiership with Cardiff does appeal to me."
The 19-year-old has made nine appearances for The Gunners, the last of which came in February against West Ham United.
