Arsenal midfielder Gilberto believes youngster Theo Walcott is about to take The Premiership by storm.
Walcott hit the headlines last term with his high-profile move to Arsenal and his shock inclusion in England's World Cup squad.
This season the 17-year-old has shown glimpses of his enormous potential, most notably by scoring two decisive goals in England Under-21s' crucial qualifier against Germany.
Gilberto is confident Walcott can handle the pressure of playing at the highest level, but has urged everyone not to heap too much expectation on his shoulders.
"He needs to play freely and not have a lot of pressure put on him," the Brazilian warned.
"But I believe he can handle pressure - especially with the way Arsene Wenger works with the young players.
"He needs time to grow, but the more he trains with us and the more he plays the more he'll grow in confidence.
"He'll be ready soon."
Walcott, who has wowed his team-mates in training, could feature against Watford on Saturday.
Gilberto said: "We tell him that when he gets the opportunity he must do the same kind of things he does in training."
