Troyes starlet Blaise Matuidi has told Skysports.com he is not interested in a move to The Premiership.
The 19-year-old was linked with a move to Charlton during the January transfer window, and his agent Etienne Mendy claimed earlier this week that Tottenham were also keen.
However, Matuidi has insisted that he is in the dark about the reports, and is happy to remain at Troyes.
"I have heard about Charlton's interest, but it has only been rumours" Matuidi told skysports.com.
"I never answered the English press, and never said what was written in the papers.
"Me, my agent and Troyes have never been in contact with Charlton.
"People have told me Tottenham could be interested in me, but my club and my new agents, Pierre Frelot, Etienne Mendy have not heard about it.
"For the moment, I want to stay focused on Toulouse, and I don't want to think about a move abroad.
"I feel good in France, and don't want to leave."
Matuidi penned a four-year contract with Troyes in the summer, and is now in talks with the club about a possible extension.
"There has been an agreement between my president and my entourage to extend my contract," he revealed.
"If I sign, it means I want to remain here.
"Troyes loves to play sexy football. The style is attractive, our team plays a lot, and that is good for my future.
"I only want to think about improving. I am focused and don't want to think about The Premiership.
"We will see what happens in June."
Although he has no immediate plans to move to England, Matuidi did confess that Arsenal held a special place in his heart.
He said: "Arsenal are my favourite club. They build, thanks to youngsters.
"And to me, Arsene Wenger is the best coach in the world."
