Switzerland coach Kobi Kuhn has praised the attitude of injured Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.
The centre back's World Cup ended early when he damaged shoulder ligaments in the Group G game against South Korea.
He has also missed the start of The Premiership and is not set to resume training until later this month.
However, Kuhn is confident that when the 21-year-old finally returns he will continue to make the excellent progress he showed last season.
Kuhn believes that it is Senderos' character that sets him apart from others his age.
"Philippe Senderos is an exceptional player and an exceptional character," he hailed.
"Despite his young age, he is already a leader who is afraid of nothing. But he is a very humble person with a lot of charisma."
Asked whether there could be a better place for him than Arsenal, Kuhn replied: "No, not at all. He is used to setting himself targets and accomplishing them and I think that's great."
