Senderos calm over Henry

Philippe Senderos has played down the importance of his duel with Thierry Henry.

Philippe Senderos has played down the importance of his duel with Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry in Switzerland's World Cup opener with France on Tuesday.

The clash between the two Gunners stars has commanded plenty of column inches in the build-up to the Group G meeting, with many believing how well Senderos copes with Henry will have a major bearing on the outcome.

Senderos admits his team-mate is one of the world's premier players, but feels there are other players on both teams who can have an influence on the outcome.

"We all train together (at Arsenal), so he knows me too," Senderos said on Sky Sports News.

"It is not about Henry against me, it is about the whole team and we have to keep that in the right context.

"Henry is a great striker and is very instinctive, so you can never be sure what he is going to do."
