Arsenal have been hit by a further blow ahead of Saturday's Premiership game with Charlton Athletic.
Having already lost Swedish midfielder Freddie Ljungberg, Arsene Wenger will now be without Jose Antonio Reyes because of a hamstring injury.
Reyes will be out for up to 10 days with the problem that forced him to miss last weekend's win over Liverpool.
"Jose Antonio Reyes missed the game at the weekend, but his strain is not as bad as we thought," said Wenger.
"It is minor, so he will be out for 10 days.
"He is definitely out on Saturday though."
As well as Ljungberg and Reyes, Wenger is also missing full backs Ashley Cole and Gael Clichy as well as midfielder Abou Diaby.
However, the North London outfit have been boosted by the return to full training of Robin van Persie and defenders Pascal Cygan and Sol Campbell.
Van Persie and Campbell both came through a behind-closed-doors friendly in midweek while Cygan's hamstring has improved during the week.
However, it is yet unknown whether any of the trio will be ready for action when Arsenal welcome Charlton to Highbury.
"I do not know if they are going to be in the squad yet," added Wenger. "They are still a bit short."
